Harlow - cleaner and greener with the Liberal Democrats
- Almost every house in Harlow now has a recycling box for
paper. Flats to follow!
- Plastic, cans and cardboard will soon start to be collected
from the kerbside, following investment proposed in the Liberal
Democrat council budget.
- 125 tatty street name signs have been replaced, with more
to come this year.
- 30 extra litter bins and 30 more dog waste bins have been
installed across the town.
- The average time taken to remove fly tips in Harlow is
down from 3.3 days to 1 day.
- An independent survey from the Environmental Campaigns
Group says the overall cleanliness of Harlow streets continues
to improve.
