The bulldozers have moved in to demolish the former Builders Merchants Federation building, near the Jehovah's Witnesses' Kingdom Hall opposite the entrance to Longbanks in Parnall Road.

The demolition of the building, which has been empty for a very long time, is to make way for a new elderly people's home.
