Local councillors Su Lawton and Lorna Spenceley attended tonight's meeting to progress the plans for regenerating the community building at Maunds Hatch. Harlow Council has set aside money from the sale of land next to Maunds Farm flats, which will be developed as housing - the hoardings have gone up already! - to fund the refurbishment and redevelopment. Now the community will need to set up a steering group which will draw up detailed plans for how the building is to be used and run.
