A planning application for a multi-surface sports pitch has been submitted by St James School. The reference number of the application is HW/PL/07/00034; the officer dealing with the application is Jacques du Plessis, and the application can be viewed at the Civic Centre, The Water Gardens, Harlow, Essex CM20 1WG from Mondays to Fridays between 09:00 and 17:00.
Wednesday, 21 February 2007Moorfield one way system gets green light
Essex County Council has given the green light to the installation of a one-way system for Moorfield, which residents have been working for and local Liberal Democrat councillors have supported.
Cllr Lorna Spenceley passed the good news to the residents' association this morning. Of the 70 responses to the consultation, 64 were in favour. Staple Tye councillor Chris Robins says: "This is a welcome reward for Moorfield Residents' Association, and the hard work they have done to bring the proposals to this stage." Harlow Council's Planning Committee has given permission for a revised planning application for Parnall House, the former builders' merchants' site.
The original permission was for a 32-bedroomed building, which was then increased to 46 bedrooms. The new permission is for 55 bedrooms and four floors. |
